Does Tracwell use cookies?

Private mode uses no cookies and stores nothing in the browser. Product mode keeps an anonymous ID in the browser so it can recognize returning visitors. You pick the mode for each website. Ask for consent where the law requires it.

Which mode should I choose?

Pick Private mode if you only need traffic numbers, with no cookies. Pick Product mode if you want to recognize returning visitors and link them to signups and revenue. Ask for consent where the law requires it.

How does revenue tracking work?

In Product mode, send purchases and refunds from your server. Include the visitor’s session ID so Tracwell can link the payment to that visit’s source, landing page and path. Payments without a session ID show up as unlinked. The browser script alone does not send payments.

Can I track my own events?

Yes. Track events like signup_completed or checkout_started, with any details you want to filter by.

Can I track more than one website?

Yes. Add several websites to one workspace and switch between them. You can also join other people’s workspaces. How many websites you get depends on your plan.

Can my AI agent use Tracwell?

Yes. Add tracwell.app/mcp to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or VS Code, sign in and pick your websites. Your agent can read your reports. If you allow it, it can also create goals and funnels.

Can I export my data?

Download Overview and Event reports as CSV from Settings. Workspace owners can also export every event within their plan’s history. We’ll email you when the full export is ready, and the link works for seven days. You can also pull reports through the API or your agent.
