Realtime website analytics

Tracwell’s Realtime report shows visitors active in the last five minutes alongside recent page views and events. Use it to inspect incoming activity while your launch, campaign, or installation is happening.

Check that your installation is sending events

Open a page with the Tracwell SDK installed, then inspect incoming activity for the selected website. Page views are automatic; custom actions appear after your application sends them. A missing event is a reason to check the installation, consent, and allowed origin.

See where current activity comes from

Country and source views help you understand the current traffic mix. Inspect recent events for the pages and actions behind that activity, then use Acquisition for a longer date range.

Check a campaign after publishing it

Example workflow

  1. Open your campaign URL with its UTM parameters intact.
  2. Find the incoming page view in Realtime for the correct website.
  3. Complete the action you track, such as a signup, and inspect its event.
  4. Use a goal report to measure conversion across a longer period.

What to keep in mind

Realtime refreshes periodically; it is not an instantaneous delivery guarantee. Country locations are approximate, unknown locations remain visible, and automated traffic can be included. A visit alone does not establish that a campaign produced a customer.

Why does the visitor count change?

The active window moves forward. A visitor falls out of the five-minute window when they have no new recorded activity within it.
